RESIST TECHNIQUES

Variation 1:

Trace on the photocopied picture outline with crayon.

RUBBING TECHNIQUES

Variation 1:

Apply a small amount of vegetable oil to some cotton wool ball.
Gently rub the oil on the back of the photo.
The oil is likely to make the image almost transparent.
Students can be due to the oil soaked balls in a very paint tray.
Encourage them to look at and on the picture to spread the oil.
Hang the photo in the classroom window to produce a stained glass effect.
